June

Our morning routine. We watch Sesame Street as Greg & I ATTEMPT to eat breakfast with 2 vultures.

Say "CHEEEEEESE"

Ringo gets about 50 'hugs' a day (and tail pulls... and ear grabs...) but each hug is just as cute as the first...

And we wonder why she's schitzo about water. She was playing with the shower / tub knob as the tub filled & switched it over to shower mode catching her completely off-guard. She's totally thinking "wtf...??" she just doesn't know the words for it yet.

A few weeks back she figured out how to make herself dizzy and LOVES doing it. She was already going for a while by the time I got the camera out so she's already a little woozy. SUCH a nut.

It's been a while since she did any celeb impersonations but it was worth the wait. Zoolander's patented "Blue Steel". Or maybe it's "Le Tigre"... or "Ferrari"...? Either way, the pose definitely shows off her adorable little 'kini.

So we're back to pool & bath issues once again. All she wants to do is take a bath (she'll put all her toys in the tub, try to get in the tub herself...) and go to the pool (the minute we let her outside she beelines for the pool gate). But once she's IN the water she isn't sure what to do with herself. So here's her perch at the pool. Top step. Sits on the edge, splashes around & watches everyone else. Cheers the kids on as they jump in but ask her if she wants to go in - no way.

Cousin Cassandra's birthday party. The fabulous-fearsome-fantastic-four ~ together once again! (with Adrienne looking like quite the little harlot...)

A new twist on swings. Literally. Corinne wound up the swing and let her unwind AS she's swinging. Some parents think their kid will be a doctor or lawyer... We have Evel Knievell in training here.

This is a taste of what we call A-D-D-rienne

Although there were a few minutes of quiet contemplation while le artiste composed her latest work...
Let me set the set the stage:
She's slathered in sweat & suntan lotion (which forms a nice glue-like consistency); She had just finished an hour or so of QT in the sandbox when I picked her up from daycare (sand sticks beautifully to the sweat-suntan-lotion concoction); She pulled out her pony tail on the way home from daycare; She's demonstrating her latest party trick of making slanty eyes while simultaneously giving me the raspberries; Oh, lest we forget the ravioli in red sauce she's inhaling.
Someone got a bath that night.

THIS is the Adrienne that's just so hard to capture in pictures. Always in motion & lovin' life.

Shorts are dangerous. They allow for close encounters between her knees and just about everything else - especially driveways & paver patios. The result of which is another "first" for the baby book - her first boo-boo band aid.

Some serious Lego play this afternoon.

But Legos don't do much for keeping us cool in 100 degree heat so we hit the pool. Adrienne blew us all out of the water with her fabulously fashionable pink-leopard swim suit.

It's blurry, but oh-so-cute - they were having such a great time...

Getting in the spirit at Uncle Peter's Pirate Party - paying homage to the ULTIMATE pirate flick, Adrienne's tshirt reads "Goonies Never Say Die" and can you believe it was actually ON tv that morning! One Eyed Willie's spirit was in Forked River on Saturday, no doubt!
An attempt at a "Billows Buccanears" family shot - but Adrienne was far more interested in the jacuzzi than posing.

See.

The only thing that caught her attention more than the jacuzzi & the food was the band - she rocked it out with the all afternoon. Yes, the 'stage' is a boat. Yes those are speakers she standing between. Yes she's 2' from stepping off the deck directly in to the water. Either we're the coolest parents ever or completely inept at parenting and she's lucky she's not deaf & didn't get a crash course on swimming.

We're a little concerned how she's going to handle a little brother when this is how she "takes care" of her baby doll....

A little beatbox action with Babe E. Fresh

We started off the month by spending the afternoon with Aunt Keri & Uncle Peter at the local park.

She thought the bouncy bridge was almost (but not quite) as fabulous the swings.

Even better than watching Adrienne enjoy the jungle gym was Peter's ability to not get stuck going down the twisty slide!
