Being super cute this morning...

She recently discovered the stairs. Great.

So she's teetering (no pun intended) on the brink of ALL OUT walking and just his past week she decides to give up her Bob Dole Army Crawl and start regular ol' crawling...??? NOW!? She's like a DAY away from walking...

Yes, this is a bad picture but it's hard to capture her standing solo! She'll only do it for a few seconds and then when she realizes she's standing on her own she starts to cry or plops on her tush.

On her official FIRST birthday! What better way to spend it than with a fabulous 'do and cake for breakfast!

As with most events at the Billows' house she falls asleep for her nap with just a few people home and she wakes up to 76 adults (ok, 24) and 42 kids (ok, 4) tearing around the house. The shell-shocked expression she has in this picture lasted until her icing induced sugar high about 2 hours later...

At last... PRESENTS!

Her cousins realized that she just isn't quite a wrap-tearing pro yet so they were all MORE than happy to help.

Another Kodak moment at daycare. Yes, she's asleep sitting up.

This week is just full of firsts! Yesterday was the first 'come pick up your kid from daycare' call - her pooper was broken. No shut off valve. A bug took out most of the class. They warned me that some of the kids are ALSO throwing up. Nope. Never. Won't happen to MY Adrienne.

So that would lead me to the second 'first'. Not only the first time but second too. Needless to say we went through 3 outfits and a bath in the matter of an hour. Poor little thing.
On to a more positive 'first', we took her to the diner this evening (luckily the bug seemed to be a 24hr one) and she had her first 'kids meal'!

And it was a FEAST!!! All this, PLUS a plate of peas & carrots PLUS dessert!! Move over Ruby Tuesdays, we may have found a new favorite restaurant!!!

Her pony-tail makeover was trumped with PIGTAILS!

She must've been feelin' super-sassy with those pigtails because she went on a 20min raspberry spree...

And the only thing more fabulous than pigtails is the POST-pigtail 'do. Umm, Flock of Seagulls anyone...?

Extreme Makeover: Day Care Edition

I went to pick her up today and she had a makeover!! Her first ponytail!!

(btw - my dad made that toybox for ME when I was her age...)

I LOVE when little kids sit like this. That started this week along with the pulling up. It's just the cutest thing!!!

This past week she's REALLY gotten the hang of pulling herself up. She gets a little distracted in the middle of the video but just hang in there for the big finale...

Adrienne's FIRST birthday is just around the corner...
